This blog is perfect. I've read reports, articles, etc that they didn't like each other and that they had problems with each other. I've seen Gillian's sassiness and outright blunt comments but I've always seen something behind all that. Like, they were always there for each other and even though they've had their bad moments, they were friends and did love each other (not romantically) but in some capacity. So this is so interesting see you analyze since I've been trying to for years! Thank you

Thank you! I had a stage early on in my love of XF where I wanted them to be perfectly friendly friends and it made me uncomfortable to read a lot of the less-than-idyllic press. But then I got over it and this blog emerged (um, years later) as a beautiful butterfly of ambiguity!
